My name is Allie, the hands behind A2Z Naturals.

This all started in a Northwoods kitchen, circa Halloween 2022. The weather hadn’t been too kind and my partner and I decided to willy-nilly “whip up a batch of soap”. Little did we know, this would prove to be more of a process than your usual simple Pinterest DIY. After a couple of hours and some frustrations, we filled the silicone mold, left it to rest, and called it a day. It became clear that Zack, my partner in most crimes, wasn’t in a rush to try the experiment again – and that’s okay! We’re not all meant for everything.

I, however, discovered a new love as what I now call my Basic Bar, was born.

The reason for even attempting the project in the first place is a realization of simply wanting to do better. We’re always trying to make better choices in various aspects of life: diet, mental health, and physical care including skin care and other hygiene practices. In our research and endeavors, we’re seeing a trend of the more complex life seems to get, it’s not a bad idea to take a simple approach.

That’s the direction I took with A2Z Naturals. It’s naturally that simple.

I want to provide skin care and hygiene product options that consist of only 100% natural ingredients.

Another important aspect to consider is that everyone’s body is different. What I need for my skin isn’t necessarily the exact same as you for yours. I’d like to be able to provide a variety of products tailored for skin types, for example my Cleansing Bar is wonderful for those with naturally more oily skin. It’s carefully-chosen ingredients allow for extra suds and lather with a gentle approach that won’t leave the skin feeling vulnerable, rather loved and nourished.
